What should you consider when you are writing an article? Well, it depends upon what you want to convey to your reader. Do you want to inform, present the issues, or complain? How do these styles of writing, and the words you use, effect your readers and your traffic?
Information for your Reader
On the Internet, the most prevalent of articles is the informative article. Readers on the Internet connect to your article because they want to learn, or resolve an issue that they are currently facing. The “How To” or “factual” piece should present viable facts and possible solutions to the reader. These types of articles can increase your creditability on the Internet as an Expert.
Pro and Con Article
With this type of article you can slant the article either for or against. Or, you can present both sides, and let your reader draw their own conclusions. In either case, whether you are for, or against the issue, back it with facts. Why? As always, your creditability is on the line.
To Complain
Okay, this article really isn’t a type, but one I felt I had to address. In this case, the writer uses the article as a pulpit to express his complaints. If it is presented tastefully, you will get people to listen. However, if it is more of an “I’m mad at the whole world” scenario – then this writing, I personally feel, should be reserved to a blog – your own.
Example of my own experience with a complainer.
It has been my habit, to read several articles of a writer, just to get a feel for the author, and possibly see if a little of his personality may seep into the article.
Anyway, I came across this website, and read several of this individual’s articles. To my dismay, I found the articles that I read, biting and uninformative. I began to wonder if this person ever had anything good to say about anything, or anyone. So to give the individual the benefit of the doubt, I read several more articles. To my dismay, the complaining and criticism continued. I found it distasteful, uninformative, and with all the negativity that flowed through the person’s words, it actually gave me a headache. Needless to say, the individual lost my vote, and I clicked away. Lesson learned–if you complain – make sure you can support your claims – and don’t do it too often, or over time you will lose your readers.
There are positive and negative ways of presenting your words to your reader. The choice is yours as to how you want to present them (words). But remember, the click of the mouse is still the choice of the reader.

Despite the fact that the Property Index service may be considered a pretty young bureau, doing business since March 2007, they were very swift to advance to expert status. On closer look, they’re a pretty easy going bureau specialised in offering consultation services to any individual contemplating to let, sell, rent or buy real estate across the globe. They pledge to be of help to you to discover squarely what you have need of quickly and, of course, easily.
Real estate can be found in most parts of the world at the moment, one of the coolest areas being property available for sale in Portugal. It should really be easy to write a list of the tremendous real property available in Portugal, the reason for looking for real estate here is the houses and apartments for sale and the fantastic option to live amongst this pulsating, fervent and dynamic population.
It’s one of the most trendy countries at the moment, and in view of the scenic splendor and the great weather surrounding you all year long, how could you conceivably go wrong… Real estate in Portugal is very rich in history, culture and art, this geographical region has been and is still home to a number of sophisticated nations.
Around 25 or 30 years ago you’d find very few of Britishers in search of real property in Portugal. Just ask everyone who has moved to Portugal and they’ll tell you the same thing. Well, some would are wont to call it a fashion and others are wont to call it a approximating to an obsession! People that are willing to move to this place may extend from young couples in search of a challenge in life to retired buyers who want to enjoy themselves.
There may well be catches when buying real property overseas – you’ll have to cover 100s of steps to consider when organising, popping in or finalizing the deal. If you miss out on one single minute action this is liable to kick up sizable catches and, most importantly, a failed investment.
Obviously and expectably with this well-liked place, real property could be high priced in this area and this, of course, is naturally caused by the peaking buyer demand. However, buyers are certainly quite spoiled in a destination so great in terms of warm panorama. It truly has practically all a client might long for and lots more.
Property Index have a range of properties for sale in Portugal, from villas to apartments.

There are many schools of thought as to how to address one’s public speaking fears.
For instance some therapists advocate elaborate skills training and preparation. Others ask you to do repetitive relaxation and imagery exercises. Others take you through endless hours of self awareness exercises and so on.
Unfortunately most of these types of approaches require a great deal of ongoing effort. Additionally the results that they yield are dependent on that effort.
The reason that so much on going effort is required with these strategies is clear. It’s because the root cause of the anxiety is still present within you. In other words it is not being directly addressed or for that matter cleared.
My experience helping individuals address public speaking and other phobias or fears over the last ten years has revealed that the root cause is always the result of some negative belief that the individual holds in their unconscious mind.
Once the belief is uncovered and its underlying illogical nature is exposed the belief vanishes completely along with the negative emotions that it was causing. In this case it would be the public speaking phobia.
What’s even more interesting is that most people who have such fears all hold similar negative beliefs about speaking in public.
This means that when I am working in a group (say a workshop or teleclass) helping a given individual release their negative belief my work is having a direct and positive effect on all the other participants no matter how many are present (say 2 or 200).
The effect is such that the other individuals need not even be actively listening to what is being said. That is because the negative belief is shared at a level in each individual that goes beyond the words themselves.
Although I won’t get into the technical details of how this works I will say that we are connected through what I call an “Energy Field” much like the electromagnetic fields that many of our electronic devices use to communicate with each other.
If you are interested in reading more about this phenomenon you may read my article “Some Evidence of How We Are Spiritually Connected” here in this ezine.

Corporate brainstorming often fails because participants don’t enter into it in the proper spirit. There are two phases of the creative process: the imaginative phase and the practical phase.
The first thing to remember in phase one of a brainstorming session is this: all ideas are good. No matter how lame they may sound initially, write them down without comment.
You must establish an unthreatening environment in order to get your participants to loosen up and start throwing any ideas out. Consider these tips for better brainstorming:
First, identify the problem. It is often best to outline this ahead of time in written form so that everyone comes to the session with the problem defined.
Next, set the stage and the rules. Tell participants that the brainstorming session is for generating as many ideas as possible and that the person who comes up with the most ideas, not the best, will be rewarded. The only rule for brainstorming is this: no one criticizes anyone’s ideas. Positive thinking is the rule of the day.
Discuss the problem for a few minutes. Do you have it properly defined? Are you asking the right question? Here’s an example: about three hundred years ago there was a plague that first sent victims into a deathlike coma from which most never recovered. One man – an exception to the rule – was buried alive. The townspeople didn’t want this to happen again. One group had the costly idea to place food and water inside and an air hole from the casket to the surface. Another group’s idea was simple and low cost: place a 12-inch spike in the top of the casket so that when the lid closed there would be no question about the occupant’s status. Both answers were right, but the questions they asked were different. “What should we do if we bury someone alive?” and “How can we make sure everyone we bury is dead?”
Now, develop as many ideas as possible. Think quantity, not quality. You can sort out the wheat from the chaff later in the practical phase.
Finally, the session moderator is there to keep things moving. If things bog down, pull out these trusty questions. Why not? What if? What rules can we break? What assumptions can we drop? What if budget was not an issue? What if we looked at this backward from the desired result? Is there something we can eliminate in order to reach our result? Could we add something to the process?
Follow these tips and you’ll have better, more productive brainstorming sessions and creative thinking just might become a part of your corporate culture.

Don’t be surprised if during your next office visit, your doctor hands you a prescription for a journal with instructions to write a minimum of 30 minutes a day!
That’s right. Medical science has discovered what we writers have known for a long time…the benefits of journaling. According to research documented in the Journal of the American Medical Association, April 14, 1999, persons suffering from asthma and rheumatoid arthritis significantly reduce symptoms by “expressive writing.” Writing about (stressful) life events helps to put things into perspective.
In the same way, journaling helps a writer to organize their feelings and thoughts and improves their perspective. Keeping a journal is also an excellent way for wanna-be writers to get into the habit of writing regularly. This not only improves writing and boosts confidence, but increases awareness and sparks creativity as well.
First Things First – The Journal
Whether opting for a special hard cover journal or an inexpensive spiral notebook, seasoned writers utilize the benefits of documenting thoughts, feelings, solutions, and events – while fresh in the mind and creative juices are flowing at their very best. And as best selling author and syndicated columnist, Marjorie Holmes points, out in her book, Writing Articles from the Heart, “…ideas aren’t much use unless you write them down.”
Some writers keep several journals; perhaps one for documenting events past and present, another for research notation, and yet another set aside as their “idea journal.”
The Idea Journal
In the idea journal, free flowing thoughts and ideas for creative articles, essays, devotionals, and other works are logged while still fresh in the mind. Besides documenting ideas that could birth their best piece yet, jotting down random thoughts and ideas helps to keep the writer’s mind uncluttered so they can better focus on the task at hand; writing.
Perhaps something you read in the newspaper or saw on television sparked an idea worth exploring; maybe someone did or said something that caused you to remember a long forgotten humorous experience, or watching a mother robin feed her young from the kitchen window might have been your inspiration. Idea books are brainstorm books; catchall books later referred to when ready to begin a new piece or when the creative well runs dry and mental stimulation is needed. It can also be perused to jump-start new ideas from a single idea already written down in the journal.
A wise writer will always keep a journal handy, whether at home, while battling the morning rush hour, or traveling abroad. Therefore, the type of journal selected is important. A small spiral notebook that can be conveniently tucked inside a purse or carried inconspicuously would be a good investment for times away from the house. A larger notebook or two kept in handy locations at home, say one in the bedroom and another in the living room, would also be helpful.
Some writers prefer writing their ideas down on index cards kept in a file box. Others find that ideas jotted down on scraps of paper, then tucked inside folders and filed alphabetically or according to topic, best meet their needs. Find the method that works for you in keeping those gems of ideas handy and ready for use. Don’t rely on memory.
Besides documenting personal thoughts, insights, and ideas useful for future pieces, maintaining a journal can help dispel confusion and keep you more focused.
Successful Journaling Tips
Whether a seasoned writer, just dabbling in writing as a hobby, or desiring to record daily thoughts and events in a private diary, the following are helpful tips for successful journaling:
Forget about punctuation, spelling, and editing; just let thoughts and feelings flow free and unhindered as your write.
Date each entry; note the time, place, and any details regarding your mood and emotions while writing.
If temporarily stumped about what to write about, record parts of conversation, quotes, or random thoughts, even if they don’t seem important at the time.
Make time to write in your journal daily. Experiment to find what time of the day works best for you. Some people write when they first get up in the morning; others just before going to bed, especially if they do reflective journaling about events that have happened throughout the day.
If you are a stay at home mom with small children, nap time might provide the perfect opportunity; lunch break at the office may be ideal for others. Regardless of what time of
the day you chose, it should be free from distractions in as relaxed a setting as possible.
One method used to jump-start a writer’s creative juices when stumped for something to write is the use of “prompts.” Word prompts trigger associated words. The prompt “anniversary,” for instance, might trigger the words “romantic dinners,” “special dates,” “mood music,” and “annual celebrations.” From these words, other associated words might come to mind.
Another good way to keep fresh ideas for writing topics flowing from your brain to the tip of your pen is to read, read, and read. Other people’s ideas can help to create the spark needed for new ideas of your own.
The main thing to remember when it comes to journaling is to keep it simple and to write daily, even if it is just a couple of lines. Jot down everything…thoughts, feelings, memories, fears, hopes, dreams, questions, ambitions, and experiences.
Let the creative juices flow free and watch your journal become one of your most valuable writing resource tools.
Happy journaling!

Two important factors that play a part in the rankings algorithm of leading search engines are content and link popularity. It can be expensive to make changes to your website, particularly if you have used a web designer to create your website, a cheap and effective way to boast your traffic is to write and distribute internet Articles.
Internet Articles are a good way to combine content and links, if you write a focused interesting article using compelling copy, then there is a good chance that its readers will follow a link within the article or biography to your site.
Incoming links from web pages of a similar theme to your own help to boost your rankings, particularly if you include your keywords within a working hyperlink to your site. If your articles are of similar content to your site then there will be a benefit.
There are lots of good quality article publishing sites around, and whilst it can be time consuming to register and post your articles the math is very compelling. Consider the following: 10 articles submitted to 10 article sites means 100 links. 100 articles submitted to 100 sites means 10,000 links, and that is before the articles are republished.
Not only can you benefit from the link popularity but a well written article will bring direct visitors. The more articles submitted the more direct traffic you will get its that simple.
Fresh content seems to do well on search engines particularly Google, so it always worth writing articles on a regular basis and distributing them as part of a monthly routine.
Make sure each article is checked for spelling and grammar; poor presentation will loose you visitors and undermine your credibility.
Each article should include a short biography with a working hyperlink, ideally giving permission to visitors to use the article on their own site, provided the article and link remain intact. Remember pyramid selling, this is the same concept but put to legitimate use.
Remember that the better the article the more widely and regularly it will be republished. A single well crafted article can produce more of a boost to your site, than many weaker ones.
There are countless web site owners looking for good content to boost their own sites, reputable webmasters will be more than happy to offer a link to your site in return for the use of your articles.
We run our own article submission sites and you are welcome to submit your articles to them:-
A1Articles is a publishing site covering a wide range of topics from Art to Webmaster issue. Authors can publish their work once approved by human editors, every author gets their own home page. Many of the articles are free to republish
We also run Article Alley which is well establised.
There are hundreds more out there, just do a search for “Internet Articles”, or “Article Submission”
I wish you success with your article submissions.

The government has announced that sufferers of osteoarthritis of the knee, or Miner’s knee, will now be eligible for financial assistance from the government.
Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, James Purnell explained that the disease would now be added to the list of ‘prescribed diseases’, which translates into miners now being able to ask for compensation from the state under the Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit. He further stated that miners who have worked hard for years and suffer from this disease deserve the benefit as it has caused great hardship to hundreds of former miners and has forced many to bring about an unplanned end to their career.
The DWP Parliamentary Under Secretary, Kitty Ussher, also expressed her pleasure at the fact that assistance could now be claimed by miners suffering from Miner’s Knee. According to her estimates, many thousands of erstwhile miners will now be helped by this initiative.
The Industrial Injuries Advisory Council had earlier made a recommendation that coal miners suffering from Miner’s Knee who have worked for ten or more years underground should be entitled to avail the Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.
Miner’s Knee is known to cause pain, swelling and hampered mobility, amongst other symptoms. It is widely expected that the benefit will come into effect this summer.

It is algebra that we employ to get our daily things done. The humans forever continues counting, measuring, dividing, and multiplying.
Invented in the first millennium BC, algebra has its sources in the middle-east. The ancient brains used algebra for solving day-to-day problems while the Asian or rather Chinese counterpart practiced geometry for the same function
Although you may see algebra as solving formulas , simplifying rational expressions, and converting fractions to decimals, algebra is one of the sciences that has the to the highest degree of applicability when it comes to practice. Through a systematic foundation of this knowledge (Algebra I, Algebra II, and College Algebra), the education system makes us aware of the mathematical tools employed for day-to-day life.
The students are given an intro in this study course to numbers, solving linear equations, graphing systems of linear equations, graphing linear inequalities, laws of exponents, resolving complex equations, and factoring polynomials. This course of study sets the base for the rest of the higher algebra waiting to be searched in the next two levels.
If a student is keen on learning algebra down to its roots, then this is the most crucial study course.
Once the pupils are sound with Algebra I constructs, Algebra II can be taken up for broadening the spectrum of this remarkable section of mathematics. There are two views of Algebra II; stressing more on the topics studied in Algebra I and foundation to new concepts. When it comes to the new introductions, adding and subtracting matrices, quadratic functions, resolving exponential equations, probability and statistics are fundamental.
In this level of study, pupils are obliged to concentrate more on the core concepts.
This is one of the most key levels of learning Algebra with almost no new topic brought in. I assume it is rather ironic, but this is the nature of maths. Do you know why maths is called the queen of all scientific disciplines ? That’s because of the unforeseeable nature of mathematics!
Algebra has the most wide-ranging methods and tools available for getting assistance. The first and the foremost important source is an Algebra tutor from whom you can get help and aid.
In addition to the above methods, students should never undervalue the use of Algebra computer software that is particularly designed to solve algebraic problems with informative steps. This computer software really adds insight in to Algebraic operations of solving equations , by providing students to simply watch and learn through exercises.

I have been reading recently about the benefits of article marketing. A recent post to the ezinearticles blog asked if writing articles was worth wasting time over. I have been writing articles for quite a long time and in my opinion it certainly is. I will explain why I think it is in this article.
Around a year ago I wrote my first article and posted it to ezinearticles, which many people regard as the best article directory/website. Looking back I have to admit that I did not really know what I was doing, and in truth the article was not that impressive. I continued to write more articles and continued to make mistakes.
Unlike other directories who seem to accept any old article, ezinearticles check what you are submitting. In these early days a guy called Wally would regularly e-mail me with advice on how I could improve my articles. At that stage my articles were too short, not thought out, and basically rushed. I did not realise the value of writing articles and did not make the required time available for this form of web promotion.
I found it difficult to keep thinking of new material and fell into another trap of re-submitting articles I had already written. I would change a few words or would re-word paragraphs. I was not aware that this was against their guidelines, however Wally soon informed me that it was. Tip, always read the guidelines.
I am now spending a lot more time when I write the articles and feel that they have gradually improved, this has been confirmed by Wally himself I am pleased to report.
As for the benefits of writing articles and is it worth your time and effort? I have had e-mails from all around the world from people who have enjoyed reading my articles, maybe I am a bit sad but this gives me a little buzz. Some of these people have included the article in their blog or on their website, thus creating an additional backward link to my website/s.
The people who read the article are potential visitors to your site, a visitor you would not have had, had you not written the article. That visitor could of course turn into a client or purchaser of your product/s.
For me search engines are going down the path of seeing one-way backward links as by far the most powerful form of link. Many people are offering link exchanges with other websites to boost their page rank or search engine position. There are many automated link building programs which make link exchanges even easier to obtain. Search engines have realised that this is taking place and place a much lower value on these type of links. One way links are not as easy to obtain, however writing articles has the potential of creating many one way backward links to you site and therefore is a must for any serious webmaster.
I have now written nearly two hundred articles and have seen huge increases in traffic to my websites as well as increases in their page rank.
People may disagree with my belief that article marketing is worth the time and effort, I do not really care as it works for me.
